Very friendly host (including the dogs)! Good breakfast (could even have it sitting outside enjoying the fantastic views). Very isolated so quiet and amazing for stargazing! There was a nice Picnic table on a hill within the property with even better views. Very close to Waitomo caves.

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable! I have dust allergies so was very relieved that the sheets were freshly laundered (have had some bad experiences in the past). It was a nice surprise that the room also had access to Netflix, and was very fitted out with a heat pump, electric lights. Modern and practical furnishings.

Do yourself a favour and stay here, we had an incredible time! From the beautiful decor to the thoughtful little touches (fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk, and a smore kit), everything was just really pleasant, and the host was really helpful and responsive. We took up the option to order a charcuterie board and onsite massages - amazing!
