The views are amazing, it feels remote from everything, however it’s so close to Matamata. It’s very relaxing there with all the facilities we needed for our one night stay. The interior was modern and inviting.

I was only there for 2 nights, but I was made very welcome. The motel was conveniently located for all needs. The purpose of my visit to the town was a special visit to nearby Hobbiton village created from the LoTR and Hobbit films. Amazing.
Comfortable room and bed. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely to sit and chat with them on balcony. Gave very helpful recommendations on restaurants in the beautiful town of Matamata. Also close to Hobbiton Village which is a great experience
Location is perfect for easy access to all Matamata has to offer. The Miro Court Villa we stayed in was immaculately clean and very comfortably furnished with a high quality of materials and finish. Everything that you will need for your stay has been provided. We loved the sunny, private garden area/patio in particular. Matamata has lots of lovely green spaces to explore/walk around and plenty of eateries.
We stayed in an older style 1 bedroom apartment/villa which had undercover parking by the front porch. It was exceptionally clean and there was a pretty green outlook with an apple tree growing next to the kitchen. The kitchen was well set up with equipment to self cater and there were a few supermarkets a short drive away. The beds were comfortable with a good selection of pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hobbiton is a 20 minute drive from the motel.

Wonderfully large, well equipped holiday home.
Perfect place for a family. The grounds are beautifully manicured and it has a great play area for kids with bikes, tramp, sandpit etc. We stayed in ine of the family villas and it was very modern and comfortable
