Lock box entry was easy and the hosts provided clear information for access. The home was immaculately clean and comfortable. Heated bathroom floors were a delightful inclusion. The beds were very comfortable and the access to a washer and dryer were wonderful for a travelling family. Thoughtful touches throughout the home created a welcoming atmosphere and were enormously appreciated after a long drive.

Views over Tasman was beautiful. It was very comfortable, the place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the options for tea and coffee were fantastic. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent bar and restaurant but couldn’t enjoy a drink because I had to drive back to the cottage
I stayed one night at Greenstone. It was a Sunday and I was the only person staying there. Emily had set the fire and I lit when I returned to the villa after my cycle ride. The fire roared into life and an hour or so later the room was warm and cosy. Thank you Emily. I enjoyed the Greenstone Retreat, it’s quiet and has excellent facilities.

-Situated in historic village on the main road to Arthur's Pass.
Incredibly charming and beautifully kept and furnished period cottage in an interesting historical village. There's a great pub, and a laundrette at the accommodation village behind it. The cottage is a bit out of town, in it's own beautifully kept grounds. Two ensuite bedrooms make it a very desirable stay. Everything you need for a comfortable home from home.
We received a welcoming greeting and the host accepted our early arrival in the rain on our bikes. Fire was lit and we could dry all our gear. We rented the whole Villa and it is charming.
