Loved the room as it was comfortable and extremely clean and very comfortable seating and the bed along with the sound of the ocean in the background best 3 nights sleep in years. Mark is an awesome host and kindly posted a forgotten item back which we were so grateful for. Would happily stay again and recommend as a wonderful chilled break away.

We were indeed beachfront in our 2 bedroom cottage on a very golden beach. The location cannot be beat. It was so beautiful that we did not want to leave to travel up to Cape Reinga - but we pulled ourselves away and enjoyed the side trip. It is a very good departure point for Cape Reinga. The cottage itself is very nicely done with guest comfort in mind. It has a beachy feel, a huge deck with a table and seating areas on the waterfront, and 2 comfortable bedrooms. Communication with the owners was seamless and we were able to arrive without having to arrange a meet and greet. The friendliness and caring of the owners is amazing. Highly recommended.

Super comfy, private, and well appointed. We were exhausted so did not get to interact as we would have liked. That is definitely something we missed out on. Location is perfect for a quick hop over to Huka Falls. Breakfast was perfect, light and fresh.
