Smile & Smile is really a great place! I highly recommend staying here. The staff is wonderful, super friendly and helpful. They waited for me beyond the scheduled check-in time to make sure I didn't have any difficulties checking in. They are really welcoming and it was wonderful to stay here! Also, the cleanliness is really impeccable. The rooms are very comfortable, and the shower room is equipped with everything you might need as well as the kitchen. Congratulations to the staff! Huge house in a quiet neighborhood, ample spaces, enough room to fit 2 families comfortably, internet, kitchenware, bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, laundry room, magazines and comics to read (in Japanese)… and I could continue on and on. This is by far the best place in which I’ve ever stayed while traveling abroad. On top of that, the host left information about a sento (public baths) nearby that were also really good (indoor and outdoor facilities, good restaurant).

The use of a digital lock wasa bit fiddly but gave so much privacy. You could leave by just closing the door without having to check out! the house was generously spacious with a dining area and hall where the family could gather and that was great. The townhouse was comfortable though a little cold but it had great airconditioning in the rooms. the kitchen was well equipped including a steam oven. After getting the hang of it, found it better than microwave!
