Overall large and clean room with own cooking space, kitchen counter and washing mashine. Staff was really welcoming and friendly and was prompt to answer any question. Hotel is only a couple minutes away from the nearest metro station.
The overall location felt a little secluded from the rest of Kyoto but there were several convinience stores and supermarkets nearby.

Excellent stay, super helpful staff. The room was big enough for a couple (size above average for Japanese hotel room standards). The location was convenient, close to an underground station and only 15mins walk from the main Kyoto station (where the bullet train is). We didn't try the Japanese breakfast, but the "non-Japanese" was good but portions on the small size.

The rooms were comfortable and it was a great experience to sleep on the traditional futon beds. The staff were absolutely lovely and forthcoming, everything was explained perfectly and everything you could possibly need was provided. The breakfast was delicious and the onsen across the street was ana amazing experience.
