I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

Love that every detail for everyday living has been taken care of, from an abundance of masks and house slippers to kitchen everything and laundry essentials. Decorated beautifully with marimekkko and Yuyoi Kusamaartwort and an elegant Vitra polygon wall clock, which was a pure delight to look at. Very comfortable bedding, too!. Within walking distance to the lovely pier, Afactory, Nebuta museum, , fish market and izakayas along main street. Interaction with host was nil, but really, who needs to when all u need and more is already made available to you???!!
