The highlight of our trip was definitely the hot tub on the porch. Soaking in the warm water while enjoying the beautiful surroundings was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Everything was so perfect. The room was very cozy, clean and big. The bed was very comfortable. There is free parking. It's on a beautiful farm with animals and the hostess is a sweet person and very friendly. The homemade breakfast was wonderful and delicious. One of the best we had in Iceland. We were sorry we didn't stay longer. We will come back if we ever have another opportunity :) Thank you!

One of the best accommodations in Iceland, which I would recommend to everyone if they find themselves in this area. You have everything you need - a well-equipped kitchen, cleand bathroom, bedroom and living area. Mr. Baldur was a wonderful host and we had a nice conversation. His wife made very tasty homemade cakes.

We had a really large bedroom, with a small kitchen and dining table. The bathroom was also a good size.
Breakfast was good, and items were constantly being replenished.
The location was good for various trips around the Lake Myvatn area.

Situated in a peaceful location outside the village of Laugar. It is a self contained lodge at the rear of the owner's house. It is on the edge of a field, with views from the veranda. Well equipped with outside seating under cover. Able to watch the local bird life feeding in the field whilst having refreshments outside ine evening.
Very new and modern terraced cabin; one in a row of three. Light and spacious; well equipped; good sized shower/wet room. Excellently maintained decor - we thought the property was new. Shared hot tub conveniently sited at the end of the rooms. Close proximity to R1. Quiet position in a rural setting overlooking the village. Mountain scenery in the distance. Very friendly owner on site. An excellent choice for a 2 night stay.
