Kerala Cottages are AMAZING! The location, facilities, hospitality are all beautiful. it is true that it takes a bit of effort to reach the property, about an hours' tuk-tuk/taxi ride from TRV airport - but it's definitely worth the effort! It's in a quiet area, away from the hustle of the 'Cliff Walk', which is about 10 minutes away in a tuk-tuk. The cottages are spacious and SO comfy, clean and beautifully constructed, with a fine attention to comfortable details. The bathroom is huge, with very nice fixtures and great water pressure. The bed is super comfy, nice linens, and you have a nice seating area inside as well as on your private front porch, where you can watch the ocean and sunset! The grounds are well-kept and lush, and the ocean is literally a stones-throw away, with a cute smaller beach directly in front, that feels very private. The breakfast is to order, and really delicious. The restaurant serves regular meals that are also very nice! But the absolute best part is the staff and workers there. A young man named Nevin mans the front desk and tends to everyone staying there in the most personal and professional manner. He seems to always be available, and eager to help, or share information...always aware, but never intrusive in the least! For a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience, Kerala Cottages is the BEST! I was SO sad to leave, and hope to visit again soon! A+++ experience!!

This place is completely beautiful. The rooms are extremely tastefully decorated, as well as being exceptionally comfortable. Ajay and his team were very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect. What a lovely homestay! We had a great time at Villa Akassa! The rooms were exactly like they looked on the pictures, super comfortable. The place is so well located with a great cafe right across which has steps leading you down to the beach! The breakfast was great, despite what some reviews said it was more than enough food! They gave a freshly cut bowl of fruits with our choice of breakfast!

the villa we got is very charming with a private pool and near the beach and restaurants. the staff is very attentive and available who helped us every time. the place is very well located, not too far from the cliffs and hi s many guesthouses. if you want a place a little more isolated from tourists, I recommend it without hesitation
