I couldn't reccomend this houseboat enough, it exceeded our expectations. The location of the house boat is ideal. A short boat ride of a few minutes away from the main street and included in the price. Most houseboats charge for crossings. It is located at the end of the first row of house boats, giving you a wonderful uninterrupted view of the whole lake from your bedroom. The house boat is surrounded by beautiful waterlilies and looks stunning. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. Abrahim is a wonderful host, who made our experience in Srinagar memorable. He helped us plan our days and even organised a driver for us for our next leg of our journey to Leh! We really felt at home from the minute we arrived and Abrahim was available whenever we needed him. Breakfast was included, and really set us up for the day. We ate on the houseboat varanda, cooked with Kashmiri love accompanied by Kashmiri tea - another highlight. Thank you for making us feel like family, Abrahim!

Stayed their for 4 days and it was a awesome experience. Kitchen provided to cook on own with all required utensils and hot water facility to wash utensils. Cleaned rooms with heaters plus bed heating option made us more happy. Staff was good too. Parking facility, WIFI facility was added too.

The property was very neat and clean. Dr. Urk and his parents was very nice. Aunty made us feel at home and helped us with home cooked food which was very healthy and tasty. Also, went overboard to fetch mosquito repellent incense stick in the night for us. Very warm, friendly and well educated family.

This place is a hidden gem!! The pictures don't do the place justice. A very luxurious homely stay with heating and ac as well as clean bedroom and bathroom. Manveetji was exceptionally helpful and I wish I'd contacted him beforehand for tips. Will definitely stay again, especially ideal when staying with a group.
