I absolutely loved the view from the dinning area. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and cosy and had everyting that I needed,. The owner is a very kind and helpful lady, knowledgable about the area. She made sure to ask whether I had everything I needed before leaving me to relax in my room. The location is also great, very close to the centre.

My friend and I stayed at Bertra House for our Croagh Patrick hike, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we felt so at home thanks to Margareth and John John’s exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and safe, even offering us rides to and from Croagh Patrick when the weather turned rainy. Their thoughtfulness didn’t stop there; they even dried our clothes after the hike!
The location is perfect—just a five-minute walk to the beach and a quick ten-minute drive to the starting point of the hike. Bertra House itself is charming, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s easily one of the safest and most welcoming places we’ve ever stayed, and we’re already looking forward to seeing Margareth and John John again next year! Highly recommended for anyone planning to explore the area.

We had a lovely stay at the yellow house. Nice and big, loads of facilities. The host was lovely and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. We even left a few things behind on accident and he kindly offered to send them to us. Location was great, lovely view! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Westport.

The room is neat and clean, the bed is very comfortable. The location is very accessible to all our activities. It is 5-8 minutes drive to the village and 18 minutes drive to Croagh Patrick. Imelda our host is very friendly and helpful.

The location is superb. The view from the window is beautiful. Murrisk is a very picturesque village. Nearby Bertra Strand is a lovely beach and Croagh Patrick is very impressive. The apartment is within easy walking distance of The Tavern pub/restaurant which served good food in a very welcoming atmosphere.
This property was exceptional in all aspects of our stay, it was very clean, great kitchen and bathroom facilities, beds were so comfy, lovely towels and bedclothes, everything one could need on a self-catering holiday was provided. Nicola met us on arrival and even left us a lovely welcome cake. The location was very handy for essential shopping and the train station was a short distance away. The property is set in its own grounds with parking. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday home.
