Barbara and John are amazing host. Barbara prepared lovely breakfast for us. She packed sandwiches with her homemade chutney for our road travel. She and John, both, are very welcoming - we spoke alot about our diverse culture. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and neat. Ok..... by far one of our favourite stays in Ireland! The rooms here are bigger then most peoples living rooms with a view of a sunrise that will make you cry. This place and it's grounds are stunning it was an absolute treasure to find and get to stay here.... oh and the breakfast....... don't even get me started! 1000% Opt in to have breakfast here! you wont regret it. It was DELISIOUS! The owner is great and has an amazing sense of humor, with 2 dogs that love pats and to play fetch! We miss it here, one night was NOT long enough! We also appreciated the flowers for our anniversary!

We enjoyed our stay at Camillaun very much. Deidre and Greg are great hosts - freindly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! The location is very convenient - a pleasant, short walk to Oughterard, which is a lovely little town that's a good jumping off point for exploring Connemara and Galway. House has a fantastic snooker table too!

Breakfast was excellent. Once acclimated the location proved excellent.. A comfortable drive to Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle. A nice and affordable golf course nearby and and a beautiful lake for boating and fishing just down the street. Also a boxing club and football club in town. The town of Oughterard had a few nice Pub's and a grocery that was well stocked. Our host Christian was great and his new puppy Emily couldn't be more adorable
