The owner was very accommodating and changed it with no fuss and was very efficient. The lady at the property was amazing telling us all the best places to visit and eat and was super friendly.

The location by the water was fantastic. The beds were comfortable.
Breakfast is first class. Hotel is right in town, walk anywhere. The town is brilliant with friendly people, the perfect Irish village. I wish I had more time to explore the magnificent coastline and talk to more people in this timeless place.
Excellent location for exploring clew bay & Achill island. This gem of a guesthouse is just a short stroll from the lovely picturesque village of Newport, its full of character with stunning surroundings.
Newport is a lovely quiet village with amenities within five minutes walk of Moorings. It is on a pretty river inlet. The hosts Sharon and Connor were friendly and helpful.
We were on a relaxation break just for a couple of days and needed a nice relaxing base. Riverside was a perfect base in everyway. Nice to be able to drive to Achill and then relax on the return. Lovely relaxed village also. Food in the village was excellent as was the breakfast in Riverside in the mornings.
We had a lovely stay. The house is beautifully restored and just a few minutes' walk from the village of Newport. The rooms are very quiet, the bed was really comfortable, super tea and coffee facilities in the room and breakfast was delicious (with options for vegetarians). Erica is such a welcoming and helpful host and very knowledgeable about the local area. She makes every guest feel at home and nothing is too much trouble!
Staff were very friendly and helpful, very pleasant. Breakfast was a buffet but of very good quality and standard and perfectly adequate. If you want a cooked breakfast there are options very close by to the hotel but the buffet was very good. The hotel is ideally placed in the village and had a nice warm welcome.
