I loved the lodge, a quiet retreat, no TV, no WiFi, very little mobile signal... Amazing read two books, ran twice in the grounds of the estate. Plenty of walks by the liffey. A real escape from modern life. Breda (the lodge warden) was fantastic, helpful, friendly and a mine of information.

We were overwhelmed by everything. The room had more than we expected. Microwave, hairdryer, Iron and board all within the room. Having a desk within the room allowed you to utilise as dressing table as well as place to have breakfast. Food made available in all forms, yoghurt, crispbread, cereal, fruit juices, fruit, biscuits, crisps as well as some chocolate. The bed was extremely comfortable. We downloaded Uber app to get us about. The entire home is immaculate and the Host Max gave a lovely warm welcome. Would definitely visit again.
