For this price, the place is like a hotel, not a hostel! I was lucky to have one night fully on my own as there were no other travellers for that night. Everything was extremely clean and was being cleaned every day anyway. There is a great big pool to use and the place is 1min away from the beach where you can dive a shipwreck. I went diving with them and that was amazing as well. It really exceeded my expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Very close to restaurants and you can also use their own restaurant.

Loved this property. My expectations coming here prior was that I did not know as I have never been this side. We had a rented Villa in Ubud as my partner loves the yoga scene however I am a scuba diver and after getting a driver the first week it was taking 2.5 hours to get to my dives so I decided to book this place after searching on booking.com it exceeded my expectations it’s quiet the staff are so so friendly the food oh the food is so delicious. I didn’t utilise the dive shop as I had an external dive guide however I would not if you were doing this a small charge would be nice to use the facilities to clean your gear even though you aren’t diving through there.

Everything: beautiful calm location, great spatious villa with beautiful garden and pool, enjoyable restaurant, good snorkelling and diving right in front of the hotel. The dive shop is really good with new and good materials (e.g. integrated weights in BCD in stead of a weight belt). The hotel really has a family feel to it and you feel very welcome. You can see that the hotel is run by owners, and a staff, that are genuinely passionate about ensuring their customers have a fantastic stay annd holiday. Thank you !
Everything! The villa looks amazing in the photos, but we were still blown away when we walked in and saw it in person. It was absolutely perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. Oka, Made and Iluh are incredible, so kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, they made our stay even better. We had dinner catered at the villa and it was the best meal we had in Tulamben, you're missing out if you don't do it. We can't recommend Lali Jiwa enough, we would come back here every year if we could.
I stayed at ocean village for 5 days and I really liked it! Clean ,big rooms, nice stuff and good food. Diving was also perfect- I was the only diver-so it was very Special!

Very friendly staff treating us like family. Board games to play in the shadow. Magnificent to watch the stars after dark from the roof top or see the stunning sunrise over the ocean. You are in the beautiful nature so you would need transport to the village.
A great peaceful place to stay away from the main road but only a two minute walk, I extended my stay at these beautiful villas. I recommend walking up towards Gunung Agung at sunrise. Excellent staff and a lovely local family vibe 🌸
