A hidden gem in Flores island. The best homestay I have been in my over a year travelling..the stuff is amazing, they do everything to make me feel at home. Everything is clean, the food is so tasty, the common area is spacious and inviting for striking a conversation with travellers. The hospitality of the family is above and beyond. Everything is perfect. To me, it's like a tour attraction in Ruteng , I stopped again on my way back because of the family.

Very social vibes. I got talked into taking the Mount Batur sunrise hike which was amazing. Beautiful place. Made me a special vegan pancake for breakfast. Rooms are comfy. Bathroom is so cool and nice. Room was cool enough with AC. Beds comfy and private with curtains. Staff super friendly. They even let me take a personal yoga mat to class so I didn’t have to pay.

Everything! Super clean and the shower has good hot water. I didn’t take the breakfast but there was hot water available to make our coffee or tea. Mari the host was super polite and kind, she ensured that everything was going well. Mita the staff was so friendly and cheerful, making me feeling at home as soon as I arrived. I slept really well and too bad I only stayed here one night. If I ever come to Ruteng, I will def stay in this homestay.
