We had a great stay here. A perfect spot if your thinking of taking the scenic drive from Kuta or checking out the world famous surf at desert point. Bukran was really helpful and did everything he could to make our stay and recommend local spots. The villa itself was comfortable and has a stunning view with a balcony overlooking the bay.

We stayed at babaleq during a surf trip to desert point and it was awesome, the owner jhon is an internet technician from the village and was helpful to all our questions and had a good communication in English. The accommodation is simple yet well above Indonesians home stay standard, we felt safe and close to where we needed to be, this place is located in a simple local village in a beautiful bangko bangko bay next to desert point, when traveling you can choose to stay on a luxurious resort or have a true local culture immersion and that was our choice, wish jhon and his family’s all the best as his accommodation business keep growing it will get better and better each and every time a western stays there we being supportive of a local man’s bussines so let’s keep doing it. Definitely stay here if you're going to Gili Asahan! Beautiful boutique family-owned beachside hotel with great rooms, chef-designed menu, incredible facilities including on-site massage and free kayaks and paddleboard hire. The hotel also arranges snorkelling tours to the local secret Gili islands, and we swam with fish and turtles - stunning. There aren't many hotels on Gili Asahan and this seemed to be the best, most modern one by far.

this place is like paradise. we came here for one night and then stayed 6 nights. everything was perfect for us here. the huge property on which the very beautiful 11 bungalows are generously distributed, with two glass fronts, the wooden floor and the bathroom under a starry sky were very idyllic. The food on a platform under a shady tree above the beach was always delicious. The staff were always helpful and super friendly. The beach was very well maintained and the house reef for snorkelling was unique. We can highly recommend the diving centre with its perfect service right next door. We would love to come back here as soon as possible.

I had the best meal of my indonesian trip. They are the most exquisite people you can think of. The bungalows are very nice and the mattress is comfy. You sleep with the sound of the waves. And it's cheaper than other options on the island.
