There are so many good things about this place. The host is very friendly and helpful, the house is superb and traditional, made of stone. It was very clean and well equipped but the fantastic touch was the wine and raki in the fridge as well as a selection of home made liqueurs. We were amazed by the friendliness of the neighbourhood offering us food all the time. The village itself is very pleasant and authentic, a welcome change from the touristic resorts. The local bakery is a delight with mouth watering kaltsounies and other pies! We will be back for sure and would recommend everyone to book it for their stay!

Small village, very quiet place. The apartments have everything you might need for a simple vacation. For animal lovers, you will be greeted by some very friendly cats and a dog. There is little to do in the village itself, but Heraklion is only a 10-15 minute drive away. The apartment is about 5 minutes by car to Ammoudara Beach. A little to the side of the main beach you can find a less busy place to swim.
