The property is in a very nice location. The village is very pretty with lots of optiona for deink and food. The beach is nearby too. The flat was clean, in ground floor and the balcony was facing the pool. The flat we stayed was renovated and quite nice! And the highlight was Mr Manolis who was very helpful and very kind!

The apartment was very spacious for two. The outside terrace was lovely, a lovely space to enjoy a pre dinner drink. Air conditioning in the room worked really well. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom, the shower worked really well. Very hospitable staff who go above and beyond to welcome you. Kastro have their own restaurant which is amazing! The food is second to none, full of flavour and very generous portions.

We had a lovely stay at Ilian Beach Apartments. Maria was friendly and welcoming and the whole place was wonderful maintained. The rooms were cleaned daily and the pool and gardens were beautiful. Plus we were a stone's throw from the beach. Rethymno town was a 40 minute walk along the beach past restaurants and bars, or there's a bus for €1.10. A taxi back at the end of the evening was only €6 and there were plenty around. There was parking on site too for our car for longer trips out. All in all a great place to relax and base to explore the rest of the island.

Everything was great.
We arrived a couple hours before check-in, we were kindly greeted, Manolis told about everything, offered to leave our luggage and we could even use the pool while waiting. The conditions were excellent, everything was new, there were all facilities, we felt like at home.
They met us with a lot of Greek goodies, which was very nice after the road.
Cleaning was done every two days, a very nice woman, thanks to her.
If we come back to Crete, we would stay there again, thank you for everything.

Perfect for our first family holiday with our 8 month old baby. The location is only 10-15 minutes by car to Rethymno where you will find everything you need! The villa is beautiful.
Manos was a legend. Extremely helpful. Villa was top class, being finished to a very high standard. Had everything we needed. Very clean. Couldn't ask for more.
We loved the swimming pool, the house and outside space are spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and very useful. The outside areas are nice, plenty of sitting and laying space. Villa owners were nice and easy to communicate with. We used the stone oven outside, it worked perfectly for pizza and owners provided wood. Internet is excellent.
The Villa was absolutely amazing. Even before we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Quick responses to any questions or advice we needed. Peter and Lina were there to greet us when we arrived to show us all the essentials. They then came over most days to take rubbish away and answer any further questions we had. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The Villa was immaculate and home from home. it was also extremely clean. If you are looking for a relaxing house to rent for your holiday then I would highly recommend Villa Zafira 😊
