Poland
We came to Kefalonia for time away and to visit family. We both loved the help from the owners. Our initial arrival went awry, and a quick phone call to Dionysus fixed that. Once we arrived, his mother Bia welcomed us with hugs and food. We owed her big time. The next day, Dionysus gave us directions to local areas to get the things we needed. His friend Spiros took us by cab to get our car thereafter. Everything went smoothly from then on. We loved being able to come home to cook food and relax on the couch to the views each night. Come morning, with windows open, you could smell the fresh oranges and lemons. The best was Dionysus apricot tree. Our hope is to return again during a different season to see what else the island has to offer. Staying at the Sea View Cottage is something you'll always remember and never regret.

Late night we were met by Kostas - the smiling owner of a beautiful raspberry house himself. Hidden by local endemic trees deep into the island, a nice cozy house was waiting for us. A parking spot drowning in olive trees, the chirping of fireflies.. I mean.. it was like a dream from the very beginning! Beautiful Greek Fairy Tale. The whole night we spent with an open balcony, enjoying the coolness and the infinitely dark sky full of stars. Even though we were there only one night, this place completely rebooted us. We even got a chance to arrange an awakening jogging and yoga session right at the very sea shore, which is just 1km away! Kostas even made us a small farewell gift, which was extremely touching! Kykeon will make you understand what Real Greek hospitality is. Sincerely recommend this place.

It was our first time in Kefalonia and staying at Thalia's place was one key element that made our holiday unforgettable and special. We loved the cleanliness of the house, the impeccable, lovely and welcoming garden, the kindness of our hosts and the position, which was really special, as Katelios beach was at a nice 10 minutes walk from the house. Absolutely recommended, we would really like to go back at Thalia's place as soon as possible!

The house is located 10 minutes drive from Poros and 15 minutes from many beautiful beaches. The interaction with the owner was good.
