Stavros communication throughout was impeccable. Prior to arrival, on arriving, during and on leaving he was available and responded promptly. We arrived so late, following an 8hr delay in England, but still he was more than accommodating and arranged for us to be met and shown in to the villa by a family member. He then came to introduce himself the next day and came to say goodbye when we left. We didn't need to do so, but I knew I could message him at any point with any question/queries and he would be quick to answer - great, kind and friendly host! The villa itself was better than expected and that the photos show. The quality and cleanliness made this villa 5*. It was comfortable, high spec, sunshine on the pool throughout the day, wonderful little terrace from the main bedroom to chill out on or find shade in the mornings/evening. Little thoughtful touches too from the host, coming to clean the pool the next day after a little windy day to filling our fridge with necessities and providing home made gifts on arrival. Location is remote but the village does have everything and more. A wonderful taverna/restaurant 500m from the front door. Amazing food and great wine. A supermarket with all that you could require. A car probably is a necessity though as there is just so much to explore in Crete and it is a 1.5hr drive from the airport. Oh and Stavros has kindly got many wonderful personal recommendations on places to visit from restaurants, beaches and historical places of interest. Very useful.

We spent 5 days in the villa as a family with young children and we enjoyed everything about it : the beauty of the house, the swimming pool, the peaceful location in the village of Melidoni - which is very authentic and welcoming, the facilities around (2 shops, 2 restaurants with good value for money and local dishes) . All the rooms were clean and neat with air conditioner. The check in /out was very convenient and we had whatsapp for any questions with the manager

The stay at the Villa was excellent. Nice hosts were waiting for us on the day of arrival and explained everything. Fruits, water and local wine were also waiting for us. The Villa itself is a new facility fully equipped, it has 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, and a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette (coffee machines, mixers, etc.) with smart tv, wifi is available everywhere, on the south side there is a terrace with sun loungers, a barbecue table and a sink, a table with chairs and an excellent view. Rooms was cleaned every 4 days. The villa is located in a village with shops and restaurants, it is quiet and pleasant, and the access to the beach or other attractions by a rented car is available in a short time.

This villa is outstanding and the quality of the finish is superb. The kitchen is very well equipped with a filter water machine providing high quality drinking water, full cooker and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, panini press plus a mixer and coffee maker just to name a few items. there is indoor and outdoor dining too. Other comforts are a large screen TV plus a high quality reliable WiFi. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas are wonderful with an outdoor shower too. Stavros is a wonderful host; warm and friendly and goes the extra mile to assist guests. Stavros helpfully provided suggestions for beaches, sites of interest and also restaurants; our favourite was Taverna Veronica which was only 3km away so an easy drive or pleasant walk. The location is brilliant with many local attractions within walking distance including the Honey Museum, the olive oil factory and of course Melidoni Cave. It’s an easy drive to beaches and places of historical interest such as Arkadi monastery or into Rethymno. I highly recommend you visit this wonderful villa; you will not be disappointed.

The property was beautiful, and was fully equipped for our friends and family (we had 3 little ones). Joanna was one of the best hosts I’ve come across, she was attentive and responded very quickly to messages. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners every night , with the added touch of appliances like juicers and coffee machines and a great bbq areas. The property also contained a washing machine , which was particularly useful when you have small children. I also really liked there were lots of areas of shade - as well as lots of spots that caught the sun. We all loved our stay and would recommend the place to everyone.
