The house is very beautyful and functional with earthy colours varying from light sand to brown and has a lovely garden with a variety of places to seek either the sun or the shade. The pool deck is the icing on the cake laying westbound with marvelous view of the mountains and lots of birdsong coming from the olivetrees. Maria was a perfect hostess showing up with her husband and lovely daughter. She had also made us the best Moussaka we ever tasted after 30+ years of Greek holidays. She also had homemade oil, olives, honey, marmelade and herbs from the garden on the counter for us. PS: The rooms are bigger than they appeare on the pics.

The villa is located in the hills and you must have a car to reach it, but luckily there are many affordable rent a car opportunities on Crete. Excellent opportunity to explore the small villages in the area and all beautiful attractions of the Chania region and Rethymno.
