It was peaceful and scenic and easy to reach. The swimming pool, BBQ and terrace were great. It was a spacious and comfortable villa. It has good access to beaches with a car. We liked Plakias and Agia Galini.

The location was superb in the mountains. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, spacious and new. A lot of attention to detail had been given which made it a fantastic stay. The host (Maria) was also a brilliant and generous host making sure we had everything we needed and we were especially grateful for all the treats we were given. If holidaying in Crete again we would definitely stay at Maria's Villa.

Everything was more than perfect! Onwer was kind and super helpful! Really nice place in a quiet village on the southern side of Crete, an ideal base to visit the best beaches in this part of the island! The view on the big porch was really stunning, looking at the beautiful gorge of Spili! The owner also has a tavern in the village, with traditional Cretan specialties!I highly recommend this property!

Very well appointed. Very clean. It's in an attractive location overlooking historical fountains. Although central, it's not noisy at night. We like breakfast in the early sun on the balcony while the coffee shops prepare for the day below. Jianni, the host is very friendly
