Be aware that you access the property along a back road near the church - the steps from the square takes you through Kalotina's garden! A lovely stay which we will repeat soon.

Everything was fantastic . Basically the ground floor with basement below . Owner lives in basement . The villa is traditional Greek property but has been wonderfully refurbished . 2 beds, large living room and kitchen with vaulted ceiling . Modern bathroom . Good shower . Wifi good . Balcony facing sea and mountains . 5-7 min walk to beach which has a number of very good tavernas. I would say that to get to the villa you would need a taxi or hire car as it’s at least 30 mins drive . Friendly owner . There are chickens and a vocal rooster whom competes vocally with other roosters in the area. But we liked that type of thing . Loved the villa and would highly recommend for a peaceful break.

The house is fully equipped and clean!
We went as a family of 4 and had everything we needed.
From Emporios you can go to all the nearby beaches but you need a car or you can have a swim at the village's beach where you can walk from the house!
I would suggest it to anyone.. family or not and hope to go back sometime in the future!

Every detail in the villa was very good, the view, the attention of the host, the cleanliness of the rooms, everything was very good. I felt like I came to my grandfather's summer house. Independence from the road level but still very close to everything. Lovely house on 2/3 levels. Bathroom and shower room with soaps and shampoo, kitchen with fruit, wine, biscuits! Aircon great, windows had blinds too plus there were balconies. Lounge with tv and sofas. Restaurants and a couple of bars just down the steps to road level and the beach was fab.

Petroula is such a pure kind soul and makes you feel extremely welcome. So much attention to detail, it is a surprise every day. Her passion and care is exceptional. An authentic heart-warming experience. The house is really sweet and super cozy. Literally on the beach and great coffee, restaurants and amazing beach bar within walking distance, while still feeling you are in a small Greek village with spectacular views and quiet village life.
Pretty and well equipped apartment. 2 balconies and a terrace with stunning views of sea and mountains. Just 5 mins walk from the beach. Family and I had a wonderful stay there. Kalotina was really kind and friendly. Emborios itself is a lovely little village with a calm beach lined with great restaurants, glorious location too. Would love to return one day. Highly recommended.
The apartment was spacious with good air conditioning. The apartment was cleaned daily and beds made fresh which was nice. It’s very close to the beach and is beside 4/5 restaurants and a small super markets. It’s in the village of Emporios which is about a 40 minute drive from the main port! The area is quiet and peaceful. Hosts were helpful
The 2ladies who run the place are welcoming and friendly. They also help with a situation with the scooter rental.

Beautiful quiet place, two steps to the beach and restaurants in the village, The owner was waiting for us, we got an upgrade to a nicer studio. The bathroom was renewed recently and the room was huge with all the facilities, comfortable mattresses.We prepared breakfast in the stunning balcony. Private parking. We got a late check out as our ferry was leaving late evening
Very charming village. If you are a climber and you like peace and quiet, this is a great alternative to the busy Masouri village. And you can see the nearest climbing crag from the bathroom window.

Everything is clean (every day) and the small terrace Seaview is just amazing. Perfect for 2 but ok also for 4 since in the summer you are outside most of the day.
Emborios is one of the best village of he island.
