The house was charming. It was a unique experience to stay in a tradional Rhodian home. The owners filled the house with family heirlooms and quaint touches that helped balance out the lack of comfy furniture. Hosts left us wine and homemade cookies.

We highly recommend this property. The house was very clean and extremely well appointed. Everything you could possibly need, is included. There is a large upper balcony overlooking the village, and in the distance, is the sea. Sunrise from the balcony is beautiful. The owner has a comprehensive list of suggestions re food, and activities, and the suggestions we followed did not disappoint. The village is very quiet, but does have three Taverna. As we were there in October, there weren't many flowers evident, but the Rhodian Fallow Deer more than compensated..... wonderful animals, and quite numerous in the local roadside woods in the early evening. The host, Konstantinos, was super helpful, especially when we arrived after dark and had a bit of difficulty finding the property. Communication excellent

Very quiet location in a village with friendly people. It's close by car to nice beaches. The house itself is nicely refurbished in a typical way for the village.
The house was outstanding, like taking a trip back in time. I have visited alot of places around Rodos with my wife but this place outshined them all.
If you like the cozy feeling of a Village and it's surrounding nature then this is the place for you.
Do not miss out on the wines the Village has to offer.

Yannis and his family are miracle workers. The place is beautiful, Embonas village is beautiful – you get to rest, have some quietness, real greek village and lovely vacation if you are staying there. We 10/10 recommend it. The scenery is beathtaking...
Nice small house in an and quite and authentic village. However some nice Taverns in walking distance around. Really offside the typical tourist paths. Highly recommended.

Fantastic mountain apartment of a very high standard. Great views from the top floor where we stayed, little balcony to drink your local 🍷 Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is thought of. Bonus to have netflix, tea & coffee, washing machine etc. Enjoyed the walk down into the quiet village for evening meals. Had use of the hotel pool, friendly welcome from owners Mum. Parked our quad outside easily. Travelled up the mountain 🏔️ on it aswell. Plan to come back in the winter to enjoy the wood burner.
Such a peaceful beautiful 24hours in Embonas! The house is up a bit of a hill, but parking right outside which is very convenient. We walked to the village and back up the hill again later and it's certainly a mini hike (in the heat!).
The room is lovely, very quirky quaint, but new and clean at the same time. We watched a lovely sunset from the seats out on the veranda at the front. And slept wonderfully in perfect quiet!

The hotel is in a wonderful location, next to Ataviros mountain. Nice and quiet place next to the center of Embonas village. The staff is nice and the breakfast is good. Wineries where you can get to know local wines and winemaking within walking distance.
All went perfect, exceptional service, perfect relaxing location, a lot to do when there, such as wine tasting in the local village. Big variety of restaurants around there including the actual hotel restaurant.
Beautiful surroundings of mount Ataviros. Lovely village at walking distance. Small family run hotel with excellent service and home cooked food. Ideal if you don't like too crowded places.
