One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The owner George was super welcoming from day one and gave us lots of local tips. He even invited us for a meal to his family’s taverna in a location close by surrounded by magical waterfalls. The view from the property is simply stunning overlooking the mountains and Asi Gonia village down below. The property benefits from a heated pool and a heated spa whirpool - both are heated up from the same source at a daily fee and need to be booked at least two days in advance for the pool to reach the desired temperature- they cannot be heated in separation. we travelled mid September when the evenings were a little cooler than summer nights and so having the heated pool was amazing! And again the view from the pool is unbeatable! The supermarket in the village has some basic supplies. The property is approx 1h 10m from Hora Sfakion (for Loutro and SWEETWATER Bay) and approx. 1h 20m from Preveli Beach (Palm Forest) - both excursions are incredible and highly recommended.

The villa is perfect for bigger groups or familys. Two separate floors/apartements, both very spacious and clean. There is barbeque grill and a lot of other extra equipment in the house. Nice pool with a mountain view. And Georgia and her family are extremly friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay in the little village of Asigonia very much.

The worst thing in the villa was that that it was so hard to get outside that place and explore Crete. ;) It is placed just outside of village and has everything you need which gives you perfect surrounding to chill and relax. There is one "must do" in the morning which is going for fresh bread to the local store which is delicious. We were there with two kids (3 and 5) and everybody were happy. Contact with the owners is very good and they react very fast for your needs. Fully recommend it.

I just felt like everything was perfect. this villa is really beautiful with an amazing view in all of its surroundings, very clean on the inside aswell, had everything we needed and was kept clean at all times through the duration of our stay with cleaners tidying up the place and replacing our bedding and towels. I would like to say a big thank you to our host Maria who is always quick to respond to our messages and enquiries, for also sorting out our travel arrangements and her recommendations on places to eat. me and my friends have been well accommodated and I think I speak for all of us when I say this is the best trip we have had. Lovely family vacation in this apartment. Very tasteful home in decoration and style. The roof terrace is huge with a nice mountain view. The pool is not that big but it was perfect for our situation: Kids age 5 and 7 as they could play in it without our help (of course with supervision but usually we have to be in the pool with them if it is bigger). That gave the parents the opportunity to actually relax in the sunchairs as the kids entertained themselves for hours which was just fantastic. The host Tanja was very kind, helpful and flexible. Great location in between Rethymno and Chania, right next to the lake. The house was spacious and nice with a great view.. It was fully equiped and I deeply regret we did not have a chace to use the huge bbq in the back yard. Stavros was a very helpful host and trully the price couldn't be any better. Highly recomended accomodation in a "strategic" location and a great value for the money we paid.
