We have recently returned from the most fantastic holiday ever in the Rivendell Apartments in Corfu. The complex is small and intimate with 13 well equipped and spotless apartments all with a balcony. Our apartment overlooked a lovely pool which was never too busy to relax by and have an enjoyable swim. The location is perfect, set in a beautiful mountainous area of Corfu but only approximately 15km from Corfu Town and 16km from the airport. While a number of guests had cars for exploring, we chose not to as there is a bus stop only 100m from the complex and buses providing direct links to Corfu Town, the airport and in the other direction the town and beaches of Sidari. What really made the holiday special were the owners and hosts Nick and Aglaia. Nick is clearly the most handsome and charming man in Corfu if not the whole of Greece!! Aglaia is a beautiful lady and an absolutely wonderful 5 star cook. Aglaia runs the onsite restaurant (which has received 5 google stars) and people come from far and wide to taste her food. She cooks traditional Greek dishes including meatballs, moussaka and a true speciality pastichio. My husband thought he had died and gone to heaven and compared her to Gordon Ramsey. I am not only a vegetarian but also a very fussy eater and Aglaia catered wonderfully to my requirements. I have never eaten so well in my life. For a light meal she also does a light and crispy pizza and a Greek salad to die for. A substantial breakfast is available, made with the freshest of ingredients and includes cold meats, bread, omelette, yoghurt and fresh fruits all served with her wonderful Greek coffee. You will not need to eat again until dinner time. The restaurant is extremely competitively priced for the quality of the food and cooking. We are quite simply in love with the Rivendell and especially Nick and Aglaia (not to forget their 2 lovely dogs). They cannot do enough for people.

Very nice place located in the old village. The house is traditional old one and very nicely renovated. You feel the touch of the history. Stylish interior, fully equipped kitchen (and much more) and nice views from the front windows of the former terrace.

Location, in 15-20 min you can reach any side of the island and yet it is outside the hustle and bustle of the city and you can enjoy it in peace. Very functional apartment (washing machine, large refrigerator, iron and much more), clean, had everything we need…Olga is very professional and friendly…the best place for holidays…recommended for families 👍

Everything! The place is exactly as it showcase in the pictures, it’s comfortable, pretty and specious. it was pretty clean inside and outside. Furniture is modern and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. There is a towels for bathroom and asp for the pool and beach. I highly recommend this place, we definitely will comeback next year.

Angelina was wonderful. She met us at the airport as we had a very late flight and then took us into Corfu town the next day to pick up our hire car. She could not have been more helpful. The free eggs and olive oil from her parents farm were also an unexpected bonus.

The villa was beautiful and very well maintained, the view was absolutely stunning! The swimming pool was definitely the best feature, it was fantastic. The villa and pool were cleaned regularly and were done to a high standard. Anna the host were only a message away and responded immediately. We were left a very substantial welcome pack on arrival which saved a dash to the shops and was very much appreciated. It was a very relaxing two weeks staying here :-) There is lovely village called Doukades nearby (5km) which is well worth a visit and has some lovely local restaurants/tavernas.

Villa Lithia is just a fantastic place and perfect for a family of 5/6. Anastasia was one of the best hosts we have had so far (communication was quick and easy). She provided us with many suggestions of places to visit as well as restaurants, which helped us to have a wonderful stay in Corfu. The villa is very well located to visit all north and mid Corfu. Distances and time on the road in Corfu are something to have in mind and clearly Villa Lithia offers lots of destinations to see within 15-30 mins distance. The villa is very well maintained. Large rooms with comfortable beds, nice living room, full equipped kitchen with all you may require and 3 different settings outside in a large garden where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner. The Villa had lots of small details that made our stay easier (to name a few: arrival food and fruit basket, coolers and beach umbrellas, some bottles of greek white wine , all you may need for BBQ, etc) The surroundings of the villa are beautiful, and swimming in the pool is quite relaxing.

Lily’s house is located away from the busier parts of the island and is perfect for those wanting to enjoy a peaceful holiday. However, it’s only a 20 minute drive from the east coast and only 35 minutes from the west coast. This means that you can easily get to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets etc., whilst staying in a rural environment. The house itself is beautiful inside and out and is well appointed with everything you could need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine! It also has an air conditioning system in the main living space, which was a bonus. It’s possible to walk from the house and get quickly into some quite wild environments. Head north along the hills behind the house for forested paths and great views south towards Corfu Town. Head south from the house for walks through olive groves. Just to the west of the house lies the incredibly interesting village of Ano Korakiana. The village has a bakery and a small shop and is a pleasure to explore. No two buildings are the same! The house is managed by Corfu Cottages whose office is almost next door to the house. The welcome afforded to us was better than at any hotel and their staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the whole island.
