Great place!! Very clean room with everything you need, the bed sheets smelled good and fresh which is extremely important for me🙈 they were very nice, the food was 10/10! Do not skip dinner & breakfast it was one of the best meals we had in Georgia ! Really good value for money. We will definitely come back & recommend others :)

Everything was nice. House is big and nice, very clean. Maria and Jimmy are the nicest person we've ever meet. We have good opportunity to spend nice evening with them and their friends. They also share with us all of products like cheese, meat, fruit and veggies which were incredibly good and made by them. 11/10.
I would love to have next opportunity to visit them.

A highlight of our trip to Georgia. Staying with this lovely family. It's located up an unmade path so you can't drive, but Bond, the owner, picked us up in his vehicle. Large supper (and breakfast) were extra but absolutely worth it. A night of eating and drinking (Bonds home made wine and various distilled drinks!) and laughing despite the language barrier (hat tip Google translate). Highly recommend

We were looking for a place to relax for a few days between cities - and Gvala was the perfect place. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Everything they served us for breakfast/lunch/dinner came from their own garden and was delicious! Despite a language barrier at times, the hosts were very fun company and great to enjoy our evenings with.

When you stay at Mtkvari you are not simply staying in a guest house, but stay in close contact with a beautiful and friendly family. You can enjoy their nice backyard, play with their dog and cat, see the cows going out in the morning and back at night.
If you can, ask them to cook a dinner for you so to experience a real Georgian meal. Cheese, milk and confiture are home made with the milk coming from their own cows....and try the homemade vodka!

Our stay at Guest House Aleksandre was wonderful and exceeded expectations. We got there late and they welcomed us with open arms and drinks. Aleksandre spends time with the guests and you can really see that he enjoys telling you more about his wonderful country and giving tips. The breakfast in the morning with the other guests was fantastic. The huge garden is beautiful as well. We would definitely stay again.

I stopped here for a night so I could get to the caves in Vardzia early the next day. The property is well maintained, very clean and beautiful garden. It is in a village not close to any stores so I recommend coming by personal car only.

Tsotne's Kingdom is a recently opened homestay style accommodation. I received a warm welcome, was spontaneously served a cup of coffee, and enjoyed a homemade breakfast in the family kitchen in the morning. This smallscale accommodation is in close proximity of Vardzia, in a quiet village. The garden is beautiful and a great place to relax.
The HOST was amazing. Such a beautiful spot in a Georgian village. Hospitality at its finest and most relaxed as well. Food for dinner and wine were excellent. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair. When we finished it was difficult to notice that we had eaten. Well prepared and delicious. Variety! Will be telling all of our colleagues that this is the place to stay in Vardzia.
Very nice, cozy, clean and quiet place in Georgian village near Vardzia. Great quality for good price. The host was very hospitable young man. Also many thanks to his family who served us. We ordered dinner and it was delicious and so big (fried fresh fish and chicken, potato, cheese, vegetable salad)! Breakfast was included in the price and it was also big and delicious with Georgian cuisine. You can also try red and white wine for good price wiсh the host makes himself.
Very good location, in a small village 5 minutes from Vardzia. The room was clean and comfortable, we slept very well. The family was extremely nice, we had wonderful breakfasts and great dinners. We can highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again when we come to Vardzia.
The family that hosted us was so kind and helpful! They had a lovely place and garden, and everything was so comfortable. The location was perfect, close to Vardzia and in an beautiful village. You could also ask for dinner and breakfast, the food was absolutely great. We asked for a vegetarian dish, and we got an amazing diverse meal! We had a wonderful stay at House Tsiskari!!
Incredible Location you will never get closer to the people in Georgia than there and you are right at the sight. The landlord is very very nice..showed us around and the abandoned village. Unfortunately he does not speak English. His wife cooks very good food. The rooms are perfectly adequate for one night. Further on, the landlord drove us up the steep hill at the sight.
