We stayed in the place on our last day of the hike, and couldn't choose better. Even though we had to walk a bit further than we planned that day totally paid off. The house is a bit older with big yard where you can relax after the hike and there is also small shop that belongs to the owner. House has very simple small rooms and good functioning facilities. However all the simplicity is forgotten due to the most amazing dinner and breakfast that we had there. Compared to all the other places we had on the hike (and not only there) that was absolutely top dinner with traditional Georgian food (including garlic chicken) and amazing breakfast when we were offered extra eggs and the most delicious Napoleon cake. We would honestly go back just to eat there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the guesthouse, the room was very comfortable, and the upper floor has a big balcony with a sofa and lots of space to hang out. The food was delicious and there was more than we could eat. The price was very reasonable, we paid 60 Lari for the room for two people and 60 Lari for dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch for both of us. It was very good value for money. There is a lovely cafe/bar that belongs to the owners of the guesthouse right next to the house, which is were all the meals were served. They also had good beer, and homemade cha cha. It was well worth walking the extra hour from Iprari down to Lalkhori, where their guesthouse is situated. It is all downhill from Iprari, and its a wide track, very easy to walk on, and with a beautiful view in the evening light. Stay there if you can, and support the little village. Just one note at the end, on the website it says breakfast and dinner included for 60 Lari, but it’s actually not. Just be aware of that. It’s still a very good deal. Enjoy your stay there:)

Very nice guesthouse - a comfy place with a very pleasant host. The girl who welcomed us and made (a nice) dinner was very good at English and that made everything very easy. they also have a small market and the possibility to buy beer etc. If you’re hiking from Mestia to Ushguli you have to walk a tiny bit longer on day 3, but your 4th day will be shorter and you’ll be in good hands :)

Very nice guest house with nice family and delicious foods. Great view and beautiful garden. Rooms are well furnished. Very clean and comfy. Slippers are provided. They do their best to enjoy your accommodation and it's gonna work well because they do with love.

Lovely guesthouse next to the river in a village with only a handful of people living there. We were the only ones there on the night we stayed and it was very peaceful and homely. It’s a bit off the main trail from Mestia-Ushguli below Iprari and you have to walk a few kilometres but I enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable beds, good food, very clean.

Guesthouse in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. We were very nicely hosted by an English-speaking person. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The best place in the area, definitely worth recommending.

It is a wonderfully, quirky house with spectacular views. I really enjoyed that the bathroom was heated by the pechi. Larissa was lovely and very accommodating. The walls were thin, so you better hope your fellow travellers are quiet. Dinner was good and simple. Larissa kindly made us a lunchbox.

Brand new guesthouse extension, very comfortable and quiet. Hosts were very sweet and helpful. The mother and the son are very well mannered and very respectful of our privacy. For trekkers, you can ask them to come and pick you up by car at Lalkhori and drop you back the next day (small fee of 20 GEL). The food was awesome. Even if a bit out of the trek, I recommend it to trekkers!

Extremely warm and kind host, went above and beyond to take care of me after a long day of hiking! My shoes were soaked and she brought two heaters into my room and set up my shoes in front of them so they would be dry by morning:) Also the food was amazing!!
