Great location, close to popular tourist hotspots in Brecon Beacons. Very pretty place and nicely self made by Brendon! Extremely amazing hosts who kindly offered us use of their indoor swimming pool. Jayne's delicious Welsh cakes were the best we ever ate! Relaxed, easy-going, self-sufficient. A nicely laid out room with plenty of space. A very spacious bathroom [shared with other guest rooms]. A rural location.
We are not big breakfast eaters and were both quite happy with the food that was laid out. Price match for the Crown Inn exceeded what we expected, 5 Star for this Village Inn.
Stayed here for 3 nights and loved it, location is within close reach of many popular attractions in a quiet village situated right on the river. The room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean and new.
A huge Welsh breakfast was served each morning, we also ate here in the evenings and the food is very fairly priced and of a high quality. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and loved seeing dippers and trout in the river whilst enjoying a drink outside, I’d definitely recommend the George and look forward to visiting again.
