It was a lovely place not to crowded,people were very friendly
The beds were comfy. Clean towels and nice bedding. It was decorated pretty nice.The sea side town New Bigging by the sea was a nice little seaside town. Plenty to do near by,
up and down the coast.
The property had most of the stuff you would expect from a holiday home.
We liked the friendly neighbours and the great beach at Newbiggen- once we had found it: turn right out of the close and head rider till you see the Golf Club and caravans below. We liked The Front takeaway on Front St who did vegan options. We liked the tea, coffee and sugar provided. We liked the amazing hot weather- so lucky. We liked the nearby Druridge Bay and the QE11 Country Park. The Co op shop is useful in the village.
Loved this beautiful holiday home 5 minutes walk from the beach , perfect location for all our days our visits to surrounding locations and the home itself was just beautiful and had everything we needed a true home from home we will definitely be visiting again , perfect for our family and dogs , thank you to Wayne who was a great host a s super friendly .
Apartment was in a generally quiet area, albeit on the main road through the village. Although rather dishevelled in parts (eg some peeling paint/plaster in some rooms, a very unwelcoming entrance lobby, uneven floorboards), the property was very clean, with new fluffy towels in the bathroom, good wifi & satellite TV. At approx £500 for the week, this was still good value for money in these days of over-inflated rents and soaring charges. Would stay again if visiting the area.
Nice little house on a friendly street literally minutes from the beach and overlooking the village allotments. Had no difficulty parking directly outside the property throughout our stay. Well equipped (other than the stolen hairdryer!) bed comfortable, instant hot water and adjustable heating. Didn't feel the need to try out the log burner as the weather was stunning.
