Huge room, small touches like milk and water in the fridge and muffins for a snack with delicious butter and jam made such a nice difference.
The orchids were beautiful. The attention to detail was excellent.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was really comfortable, with a couple of chairs to sit and have a cup of tea and chat and a super-comfy bed. Really nice cooked breakfast.

Ideal for splitting the north/south trip, 2 mins from motorway, basic but comfy and clean. Excellent breakfast, made fresh. I’d happily stay here again.

Amazing house , real luxury.
If you can afford it then book it.
The only reason I didn't get a 10 on everything is it's a bit out of our price range but that won't be the owners fault I bet.
Tvs in bedrooms is a must for us working class types ha.
Location was very central, good facilities in and around village, including train station. Useful location for the family events we were attending.
Lovely building, high ceilings, beautifully decorated and furnished, and lots of space. Heating arrangements worked great.
When we had a problem with lack of hot water and lights not working, caused by previous occupants, the owner and Premises Manager and handyman turned up promptly and sorted it out entirely.
There are people who live upstairs, but they didn't bother us at all.
Good location for villages east of Carlisle. Also for local facilities in village. Property had hard floors throughout making it worry-free for our dogs leaving paw prints accidentally. Very comfy beds. Very quiet area day and night. Excellent grassy park area opposite house accessible via short alley for dogs to run around on.
The accommodation is spacious, the beds are really comfortable, the living spaces large and tastefully furnished with pleasant seating areas inside and out. The location is delightful in a quiet picture-perfect village.
Well equipped apartment in a very peaceful location on the edge of a beautiful village. A perfect ‘home from home’ and base to explore the surrounding area and the Lake District.
