Beautiful building, downside which sounds awful but no TV in room And we were fine but for those who are less sociable, you feel forced to sit and eat/drink with other guests The host was an amazing lady, very friendly and attentive, just an outstanding place to visit, definitely worth the money Stunning views! Quirky old cottage, very convenient for Wellington. Wonky floors and beams all add to the cottage’s charm. Easy off road parking 5 minutes away. The host was very helpful and friendly and responded to my requests. Very well equipped kitchen. New cooker. Condiments, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine, washing machine tabs, soap etc all in generous supply. The garden is really lovely and I expect it would be great to sit out there in warmer weather. The cottage itself was warm inside.

We were only at the property for one night and didn’t use any kitchen equipment or the dining table to cook or eat. We like the spacious living area and the whole house has been obviously lovingly restored. It was comfortable to sit in the living area to chat in the evening. And it really is very cosy upstairs! Although the bedrooms are very small, this is to be expected in a cottage called “cosy” perhaps! The double room in which we slept was a delightful room. I like a bathroom with both a bath and a shower, which were both present. And lots of surface area to place items on.
