A great location for us. Close to Goodwood where we attended the Revival and very characterful, quiet and rural. The Shepherds hut was cosy and comfortable and bathroom facilities, which we are very short walk away, clean and functional. The host was generous allowing us to use the private laundry facilities for access to mains electricity to get ready for the Revival.

I travel a lot for work, staying in hotels, so it was wonderful to stay in somewhere so homely and relaxing. Homemade cake and tea, coffee and milk at the ready, and really lovely hosts.

The house is lovely, equipped with everything you could need for a great stay. The mattresses on the beds are so comfortable i actually asked what they are!
The owners are so helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend.
Location was reason for booking. In same village as friend's house; I had come for a funeral. She had arranged a family dinner (in which I was included) that evening after the ceremony & reception. Very nice service from the young waiter.
Very friendly and helpful staff, busy pub atmosphere. The food is excellent with great service, and a good menu selection to meet all needs. It's in a small village north of Waterlooville, with main roads not far away.
Lovely village pub in a good location close to A3. The room was basic but had all the key facilities including TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean and the bathroom had a good shower. It was quiet and I slept well.
Clanfield a beautiful village on South Downs Way and this lovely place to stop over was ideal.
Twin room was tidy, and staff was friendly. Food was delicious.
Breakfast was also great with nice fresh coffee.
