Very quiet location for a peaceful sleep. We did hear an owl hoot in the evening, very special! The bed is enormous and really very comfortable with good quality duvet and pillows. Large bathroom as well with all facilities. Dogs were super friendly and welcoming as well as their owner. I loved seeing the squirrels run and jump in and out of the walnut tree.
Beautiful classic inn pub and destination restaurant. Very comfortable immaculate room where I stayed, whilst hiking the Ridgeway Path. Lovely village. Huge array of craft beers and English and world wines. Really cool staff too.
The communal areas were lovely and spacious although I did not use them.
The single bed was very comfy and I liked that there was a window right next to the bed as I like fresh air.
The location is lovely if you're wanting to have some peace and quiet in a nice village with a nice community pub around the corner.
The garden was beautiful.
The communication with the hosts was very good and they were very friendly.
The price was amazing too. But you do get what you pay for.

Lovely evening meal in the sunny garden. Brilliant breakfast and wonderful staff. Very conveniently located a stones throw from the village hall where we were having a family picnic.
Good value, nice rustic village.
Pretty well kitted out (iron, hairdryer, mini fridge was useful). Two good pubs and a village store that closes 5pm and plenty of buses going between Wantage/Harwell Campus/Didcot
Good communication from host
The cottage was beautiful and located in a quiet village, perfect for what we needed. Spacious room which was clean and the cottage was well equipped for our short 2 day stay.
The location is stunning! We had a great time.
Tony - the host, was extremely welcoming and super knowledgeable in the area, so he directed us to visit very lovely villages around. He also provided us with bikes for a cycle. The room was perfect - it had a coffee machine and a fridge. Our room look right outside into the stunning property! Beautiful view.
The bonus was the two lovely dogs Nala and Zack. The cutest little creatures - very loving and super friendly.
