Ellen and Andy are very friendly and welcoming, interested in our travels. The house is very quiet and warm. Also very easy to find and close to the village pub. We just needed a comfy bed for the night while traveling back from the highlands, it was perfect, we were able to read in absolute peace for a few hours before bed. We stayed in the twin room, which has its own bathroom, but across the hall, rather than ensuite. Plenty of tea coffee and hot chocolate is provided, as is a good selection of breakfasts.

The glamping hut was clean and had all the basic comfort that we needed for one night when hiking the West Highland Way, such as the toilet and sink inside the hut. It was close to the train station, to the village of Tyndrum and to some local walking routes. It is a great option for a night or do if you do not feel like overpaying for hotels.

Amazing location for exploring the western highlands at a reasonable accomodation cost. Glen Coe is less than an hout drive away, except that you constantly want to stop to take in the views. The village of Tymdrum has a couple of surprisingly good dining options, a small sulermarket and enormous gift/whisky/outdoor equipment shop.
