Very close by to visiting our son who lives 2mins away in car,also a great stop over for our next day to Cornwall,very quite location and host pete really lovely and made you feel very welcome,we had a cooked breakfast,which was really great.Would recomend brookside cottage you won't be disappointed Tricia&Andy

Loved this beautiful old hotel in this very pretty quaint village. We had an upgraded room which included a carpark, for which we were very grateful. Our room size was very generous and the cooked to order breakfast was first rate. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Well linked to the M5, this 15th-century manor house stands in 4 acres of gardens, with glorious countryside views and a rich history. Collaven Manor is in the North West of Dartmoor.
neat and tidy, immaculate presentation. Host extremely helpful but also non obtrusive giving us complete privacy to the garden which faced south and areas in shade all day. For such a compact property it was amazingly well furnished in a lovely village
