We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The room is spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering homemade cookies and whisky on arrival, which was such a nice touch. Breakfast was a highlight, with many delicious options to choose from.

The village was fantastic and quaint. The perfect point for all adventures on Harris. Breakfast on the go was prepared for us on day one because of the trip to St Kilda, but day two made to order breakfast was wonderful . We tremendously enjoyed staying at the Old Post Office, which is most likely the cleanest, the coziest and by far the best equipped holiday home we’ve ever stayed at.
We loved the tranquility and the remoteness very much indeed and we greatly enjoyed the garden and the exceptional view from the wee entrance room (where we actually spent most of the time because of the view). We do hope to come back some time. - Thanks you very much!
