Beautifully clean and welcoming cottage, with lovely extra touches of hospitality (eg. bread, butter, OJ, milk, tea & coffee). The spiral staircase is a lovely feature - (though note my other comments below if you're at all unsteady). The back garden was a perfect little private space, leading from my favourite room - downstairs kitchen/diner with sofa and table. I appreciated the clear, friendly, non-intrusive booking communication, and the warm, spacious accommodation. Altogether it was a really good base for exploring North Wales.
Located in Rhyl, just a 3-minute walk from the beach, Melbourne Guest House offers free, limited private parking on site. The centre of Prestatyn is only an 8-minute drive away.
