We were given a very warm welcome by Lesley and Steve. Our room with king-size bed was lovely, quiet, very clean and the bed very comfortable. We had exclusive use of a large bathroom. Lesley had provided many thoughtful additions to our room such as a good selection of teas, bedside chocolates, and dressing gowns to use. We had an excellent choice for breakfast, including continental and cooked breakfast and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The décor was cheerful and welcoming. Last of all, the location was perfect to visit Amble, Warkworth, Alnwick, Alnmouth and - if we had been staying longer - many other beautiful places in Northumberland.

We were shown to our room. We had a castle view. The bedroom was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Lovely little touches such as the LED candles that we used as a night light.
We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, both beautifully cooked and delicious.

Location fab, lovely quiet site, caravan was clean and had everything we needed for a nice 4 day break. Had a journey out to Amble and a fantastic meal at the Cook and Barker Inn at Newton le Moor. Overall it was a lovely relaxing break and the dog loved walking round the lake and in the woods.

Lovely peaceful stay in a well cared for lodge. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the walk to Nelson's cafe in the village (cake and hot chocolate!). We even sampled the local Indian takeaway which was nice (about 3mls away).
Booked it for the hot tub. Pleasant villa. Quiet site and villa is located in a pretty private spot. Enjoyed the view from the hot tub (bushes could do with a cut back now) and seeing the dear, rabbits and birds. Two good bedrooms (not three bedrooms as stated). General standard of cleanliness. Toiletries and welcome cookies and Prosecco. Large fridge and freezer. Good wardrobes and two good bathrooms. One with shower and one with a bath.
A beautiful holiday home very tastefully decorated. The owners have thought of everything. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The information pack was the best we’ve ever had.

gorgeous holiday home, love the decor it’s literally a home away from home. Very clean, the hot tub is a great bonus! Love the welcome chocolate and bottle of bubbly….fabulous hosts! Ash was quick to respond to any questions I had. The site itself is fab and the club house is great, we visited Saturday / Saturday night and the walk home with our flashlights was hilarious…after a few bevvies! The golf course is decent and another added bonus to the stay. Thanks again for having us, can’t wait to book again.
The holiday home was exactly as the pictures promised, location was very peaceful backing onto the woods with deer visiting on a morning. The hot tub was private and absolutely divine and was super clean and ready to go even had a pull over canopy in case it rained.
The owner was just a text away if needed.
