if I'm ever back in the area I would most definitely stay there again.
The hosts are very friendly, relaxed and approachable,
The cottages are modern, clean and well equipped while still feeling cosy and homely.
They have everything that you need for self catering but there appears to be plenty of nice places locally selling bistro/pub grub and I'm pretty sure the host told me that you can also have takeaways delivered?

Overall it was just a very relaxing stay which given that I was travelling for work, that's exactly what I needed.

The room is cosy with lovely views over a field of sheep and the wolds of the Forest of Bowland as a background. The bed was very comfortable - not too hard or soft. The place is immaculate. There were some interesting books in our room on the local area as well as some humorous ones.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the same view.
Sally and Simon provide excellent accommodation. We’ll return and stay longer to explore the area.

The location was perfect for walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks. There was parking outside the property and the pub is the other side of the car park - you really couldn't get much closer. The food in the pub was really good especially for a veggie!
There is also another pub a few minutes walk away.
Stephen was very friendly, lots of books and maps available.
We will definitely be back.

Beautifully fitted out with attention to detail. Comfortable and stylish furnishings, warm and cosy. Two bedrooms each with en-suite facilities. Plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The host left milk and breakfast items for us which were most appreciated. The cottage was centrally located and just a short walk to local shops etc. and not far from the castle.
