Beautifully quiet spot in pretty quiet village. The house was delightful, full of character and beautiful things.! Breakfast, although vegetarian was truly excellent, best fruit salad, and perfectly toasted sour dough toast with a huge variety of preserves, plus great choice of cereals ad muesli. Hosts were warm and welcoming and we had use of the kitchen for drinks. The house was spotless and our room pretty and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more!

we loved this place so much so I will be booking again - staff super friendly and the house and it's contents are another level full of historical things . amazing pictures books and all sorts of treasure that we were warmly invited to use . I loved the idea that it's full of a person collection of occultism and the new owners have treated them respectfully. you definitely don't have to be into occultism to love and enjoy the treasures and the vibe of the house is so warm and welcoming X ps pics don't do it justice

An early check in was accommodated without a problem. The B and B was easy to find and parking was straight forward. We found access to the town and the TOR was convenient. The host and hostess were delightful. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean.

Little England Retreats - Cottage, Yurt and Shepherd Huts, hotel in Shapwick

Located in Othery, Little England Retreats - Cottage, Yurt and Shepherd Huts features accommodation with seating area. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio.

Stayed in the 'shepherds hut' at the bottom of the garden. Quiet, pleasant space, with an effective heater and comfortable bed, fold down table, some plates etc and a lovely bathrobe provided (needed as you have to cross to different parts of the garden to wash or go to toilet). Nice little balcony entrance, up a few wooden stairs. It was cosy for one person but I think it would be too small for two, with little space for bags, hanging clothes, sitting. Other accomms on site were larger. Garden with play area would be great for children. There is a well equipped kitchen in a separate building for self catering.

The host's were very friendly, approachable, nothing was to much. The potting shed was well equipped and very comfortable. The outside area was just stunning, so peaceful with a vast garden area and a view of the village church. Breakfast was beautifully presented and served in the garden next to the church, and was one of the tastiest breakfasts we have had We would definitely recommend this property

The Potting Shed is not huge but is beautifully decorated and furnished. The double bed was comfortable. Well appointed ensuite bathroom with very good shower. The room is accessed through the gate on the side road and faces the lovely garden. Fabulous breakfasts in the conservatory to the main house. Very quiet village location just a mile or so from the main Bridgwater - Glastonbury road. We received a warm welcome from Matthew who looked after us very well and was a pleasure to talk to.

The Potting Shed is a pretty little room with all that is necessary for a tranquil and comfortable stay. The garden is beautiful, placed right behind the village church. An added bonus was entertainment from 2 beautiful black puppies and some bantams.

The potting shed is located in a quiet village near to Glastonbury (10-15 mins away) . The potting shed itself is a charming two room detached building, it’s very charming and quintessentially English. The hosts were excellent being friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfast was fresh, homemade and delicious and set in Idyllic surroundings. We loved it! including meeting the chickens and Fleur the dog.

The Potting Shed is a lovely place to stay in a fantastic location. The hosts are very friendly, interesting and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Shapwick itself is a beautiful village, a good base for exploring the Somerset Levels.. there are many walks nearby. The cricket club is welcoming and friendly too. We would definitely stay again.
