Log burner had broken flute
Cabin had no sign not to use and the flute caused huge smoke to fill cabin endangering our lives. Tried to address this with staff who claimed it was not to be used. There was no sign not to use, no mention on website and the burner wasn’t locked. Tried to resolve with host who after 2 days told me sign was in burner and logs were for “display only” this was a risk to life and host doesn’t seem to care. Will be taking this matter further as my wife and I could have been killed.

Our stay at the Barn was an absolute delight. We enjoyed the plentiful amenities and were thoroughly impressed. Ben, our host, made us feel so welcome while still respecting our privacy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Having stayed a few times we knew what to expect. Excellent food , excellent rooms and Caroline and Steve are just great. Couldn't ask for more, and just round the corner from Hever Castle.

Love the whole lay out and everything you need,Andy is so helpful and lovely garden area to sit and relax in with picnic benches and can have bbq aswell,you can have a nice walk through the country park which is next to it and have a pint and something to eat at the villager which is a top pub
The location was perfect, right in the middle of Wrotham, which is a lovely village. The Cottage had plenty of character, whilst still being comfortable and convenient. Having a car parking space near the front door was appreciated.
We visited during the weekend of Wrotham's bonfire night/fireworks display. The fireworks were honestly one of the best, if not THE best, display I have ever seen.
