The whole experience from booking with yourselves, to leaving the establishment was flawless. The location was ideal for us, however might not be for people with mobility issues, as Bowness is about 3/4 miles away, plus Windermere is 1/4 mile away. Having said that there is a local service, with stops not too far from the premises. The hotel was lovely, clean and adequate for our needs. Ian was

I love the location though definitely want to have a car for how remote the location is unless you are like me and don’t mind 40 minutes walks to get to the nearest village. Walks were beautiful. Location is beautiful. Property was nice and clean and I found nothing broken. Everything worked perfectly.
Well equipped , comfy cottage. Great location for walking, good walk down to Esthwaite for a quick morning dog walk. Pub in the village was closed when we stayed but Cuckoo Brow in Far Sawyer was lovely. Great walk from the house down to Windermere, north along the bank and back over the fells, very happy tired dog at the end of the day.
Wonderful accommodation in a quiet village. The best breakfast we had in our three week tour of the UK! Wonderful welcoming owners who made the stay very memorable.
