A lovely location for a break. It was so peaceful. We didn't hear a sound after dark.
We parked at the house, and were made to feel welcome. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of choice, and contained good quality ingredients.
Meals for lunch and evening are all within a few minutes drive. We used the community pub about 5 minutes away, although it doesn't serve food several nights a week.
It would certainly be a B&B that we would return to.

Myself and my family have stayed here alot over the years, in various different rooms.
The place has become very tired and worn and could do with a spruce up.
Carpets ripped, mastic in kitchen all come away .
My room moel Arthur, which I have stayed in twice before was okay, but there was mold/ water damage on ceiling in room and in bathroom, sticky hand prints all over wall, dead wasps on windowsill, side tables sticky, toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. And one of the toilet rolls had blue which I can only imagine as toilet cleaner all over it.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, woke several times with springs sticking in body and woke up aching and sore.
We love ruthin , and used to love staying in the feathers, but for the price for one night I believe it didn't reflect the presentation of the place on this occasion.

The Raven Inn was located well as a stop on the Offa's Dyke Path, in a really tiny village (you need to try the pastries and cakes in the community shop!). The Raven Inn's pub did not serve food when I was there, but the owner was so kind to drive me and another traveller to another one nearby. The room was fine: good bed, and nice to have a small kitchen with hot drinks included (tea, Nescafé, cocoa). No check-out, so you can leave at the crack of dawn if you'd want to.
The room was very clean and really cozy. My daughter joined me the second evening, however she was going to miss the roast dinner, the staff kindly made her one for me to warm in our room upon arrival. We also had great weather so was able to get out and about and see the lovely village some more. They had a lovely band playing on the Sunday afternoon the pub was very busy.
This is the centre of a holiday homes park, saying that it’s the centre of the home owners community. There’s blasting music, bingo, quiz - if you’re into it the place is for you. It has a small bar, dining area, small restaurant. Rooms are ok, the building itself has a character. We had a warm welcome on arrival.
Fab location a few metres to local village pubs
The staff were so nice and helpful
Reception and bar Man In particular
Room was lovely too with great views of the countryside
We had an evening meal and staff again really pleasant
Great breakfast too
Would go back for sure
It’s in a really lovely village. We had a warm welcome and all the locals were extremely friendly. We had a very cute double room which had all the basics that we needed for an overnight stay. We had a delicious meal in the pub downstairs and the bill was very reasonable. Would definitely come back again if I was coming to this village. Overall it was good value for money.
Lovely area and right in the village centre, but hotel doesn't have its own car park. Room was OK with shower, tea and coffee, but was very noisy. Squeaking floorboards right outside the door everyone passing woke us up, starting at 5.15am
Convenient having the Wetherspoons pub below for meals.
This is a really nice holiday home, very well appointed and so comfortable. It is amazing how many great features the house has, given its size-it's cozy and would be lovely in the winter too, with the fire on. We were all charmed with it and really enjoyed our stay. Ruthin is gorgeous - so enjoyable to walk around, looking at antique shops and the lovely architecture.
