This was a short trip away to celebrate my birthday. Neither my husband or I had been to Ripon before so we were not sure what to expect. The staff were excellent, the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with really good choices. Totally different from the normal offerings at other establishments. The evening meals were outstanding too, food presentation and value for money 10/10. I would not hesitate in recommending Valentino's to anyone. A bonus to be able to park in a busy centre too. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff members. We also had a meal at their sister property The Water Rat, a short stroll along the river. Equally as good food and excellent staff too. Thank you so much for a really lovely stay and we will definitely be returning in the future. Ripon is very lucky to have a place like yours!!!

Stayed for 5 nights in September. Location ideal for touring the Dales and N York Moors. Accommodation is excellent although the standard double room is a little small so would recommend the larger rooms if staying for more than an overnight. All the staff made us very welcome and breakfasts were cooked fresh each morning including the toast together with ample choice of a cold buffet of cereals, fruit etc. Rooms were made up daily on request. Would highly recommend this B & B. The pub just across the road serves good beer and food.

The Bruce Arms is lovely, in a gorgeous village, with opportunities for great walk in the countryside around. We had great breakfasts, and a really very special meal one evening. However the thing that made our stay was the team young, friendly and really caring, special mention to Jade who is a wonderful host and quite brilliant at her job! We’ll be back!

It was in a lovely quiet village a few miles from Ripon and all the other places we wanted to visit . The Inn opposite served excellent food. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The quality of food for breakfast was first class and the staff were friendly and polite.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The meals especially breakfast were fantastic and the beer garden was just lovely. the village itself was really nice and we enjoyed some seriously good walking.
Beautiful property in idyllic village location. Easy parking and access to local facilities. Claudia provided a very warm welcome and made us feel very much at home. Excellent cooked breakfast with comprehensive choice of items served in relaxed country kitchen setting. Lots of advice about things to do and places to go. Well placed for visiting many dale’s attractions around Ripon and Masham.
