Loved this beautiful old hotel in this very pretty quaint village. We had an upgraded room which included a carpark, for which we were very grateful. Our room size was very generous and the cooked to order breakfast was first rate. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Nice chairs in the bar area and a huge selection of Gin. Very nice staff, although one of your waitresses did not know the difference between a piece of hake and plaice, when delivering our lunch.!!

Everything was very good, hosts, accommodation, breakfast, dinner at The White Hart, walk round the churchyard at sunset, distance to Cornwall
Lovely people, lovely property, lovely location, lovely little pub and the village shop just down the road, lovely walks right outside the door. It doesn't get much better than that.
The hosts were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early and were able to check in early & when we missed the breakfast slot the next morning they were able to accommodate us (which we were very grateful for!). The breakfast was phenomenal (one of the best I have ever had) & was with all local produce. The location is great to get into the Moors and close to local villages. Lots of natural sight seeing.
Great location in heart of Dartmoor, good sized room and en-suite, comfortable bed. Owner booked evening meal at nearby pub (though village pub was not open at the time). Even got a complimentary coffee from village post office after walk, as owners who also ran it.
