Room clean, warm and spacious with a separate seating area. Extremely quiet and serene location, albeit a drive into town. Breakfast was great.
The welcome on arrival was very friendly and it was lovely to be shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was a good size and had everything that we needed, bathroom was a good size too. Breakfast was AMAZING - super well organised and the food was so so good. The lady who was serving us breakfast was brilliant and definitely deserves a mention. The hotel is perfectly located in Portsoy to explore the village or for public transport.
Very comfortable- front sitting room morning sun and water view, back sunroom with outside stairs to upper garden area- exceptional view. Very easy walk to village shops. Kitchen very well equipped. Nice hot shower and very comfortable bedrooms. Owner Carol lovely to deal with and great communication. Thank you.
Portsoy is a great location for exploring the surrounding villages. The Station Hotel was comfortable and friendly as a classic local pub stay. We enjoyed the dinner, bed and breakfast package with some very pleasant meals and good value drinks.
The hotel was in the middle of Portsoy, a great location for what we needed (visiting family). The village was so sweet and had some lovely food and coffee shops! The food in the Sation Hotel itself was lovely and had loads of options to cater for my wheat intolerance. The hosts were absolutely excellent and so friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Great location. Easy check in. Room good and clean with tea, coffee, water and nice biscuits. We ate in the restaurant. Food was good. Breakfast was good and staff were great. Hotel had a great feel and it was in a lovely village by the sea.
The location is excellent for exploring the lovely village and the property was very clean, had all the amenities and the views from the lovely garden were fantastic. love the place. Will hopefully return in the future if the opportunity should present its self
