This sparklingly clean three bedroomed B&B is located right in the middle of the pretty fishing village of Portmahomack. It is the width of a road from the sandy beach that runs for miles from here to Tain.
Our stay at the cottage was the perfect break - plenty of space, very comfortable and fantastic views (which included dolphins).
We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived and instantly felt at home, our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed for our stay, with a shop and places to eat in the village. Having the beach and great walks on the doorstep was a great plus, we'd definitely return!
Caledonian House is ideally placed in the quiet village of Portmahomack. Its rooms are lovely and the front room has a spectacular view across the Cromarty Firth.
