Arrived late, but still had a parking spot. Friendly, cheerful greeting, somewhere to sit down while completing the formalities, and an offer to carry my bag up to the room. All a relief in my tired and slightly frazzled state.
Room was lovely. Not big, obviously, or it would be a double, but had a sink, fridge, hanging space, a couple of chairs and a desk, all without seeming overly crowded. Sockets near the bed as well.
Two toilets available, and a night light in the hallway. Bathroom was spacious and shower looked good, though I didn't try it myself.
And I got my bag carried down again. Would definitely return
2 months later: I did return, and it was even better. They had recognised my name on the booking, and amazingly remembered a couple of passing comments I made about my preferences, so did what they could to fulfill them. I was beyond impressed!

The breakfast choice was very good. Something for everyone. Attentive fast service.
Beautifully quiet village location, a short walk to the coastal path. Central to lovely country walks and the sights we wanted to see. The up-side-down cottage was light, warm and comfortable, with a pretty cottage garden to sit in. A very well-equipped kitchen and clean modern bathrooms.
The room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was large and comfortable and the private entrance was brilliant. It is in a quiet village and it is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway.
Lovely setting in small village of Portesham. Set in beautiful countryside, far from the madding crowd. Very comfortable room. Lovely food on site in the evening and a fantastic breakfast at the impressive farm shop/cafe nearby.
The staff were lovely and very friendly. Delighted with our choice, we would certainly go back again in the future.
